Why Comfrey Fertilizer is a Superfood for Soil

Comfrey fertilizer Kashmir
Comfrey is often called an active accumulator – meaning it pulls up valuable minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium and nitrogen from deep within the soil and stores them in its leaves.

These nutrients are exactly what most plants need to grow strong roots, lush leaves, and produce abundant flowers or fruit.

Its high potassium content makes it especially beneficial for fruiting and flowering plants, such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and plums. Unlike some fertilizers or chemical fertilizers, comfrey breaks down quickly and does not burn plants.

1. Comfrey (Liquid Fertilizer)
This is the most popular and powerful way to use comfrey. It makes a nutrient-rich “tea” that you can use as a liquid feed for plants.

You will need:
Fresh or dried comfrey leaves (about 1 kg)
A large bucket or container with a lid
Water

How to make it:
Cut or tear the comfrey leaves into small pieces.
Place them in the bucket and press down firmly.
Fill the bucket halfway with water (too much water will make it weak).
Cover it with a lid or plastic wrap to keep out insects.
Let it steep for 3 to 4 weeks. It will start to smell strong - this is normal!
Once it has thickened and thickened, pour the liquid into another container.

How to use it:
Diluted one part comfrey tea with 10 parts water before planting.
Apply it around the base of the plant (not directly on the leaves).
Use every two to three weeks during the growing season.
This tea acts like an organic superfood for plants - stimulating growth, improving fruiting, and strengthening roots.
