Olive plant

Olive trees
Olea europaea trees- Olive trees prefer sub-tropical and temperate regions of the world. These trees are native to the Asia and Africa. They like hot weather and sunny positions without any shade. They need full sun for fruit production, but also need a slight winter chill for the fruit to set. Temperatures below minus 10°C (14°F) may injure even a mature tree. Trees can produce a crop when they are 6 years old and continue producing a commercial yield for the next 50+ years.

Dong quai (Angelica sinensis) plant

Angelica sinensis, commonly known as dong quai or "female ginseng" is a herb from the family Apiaceae, indigenous to China. Angelica sinensis grows in cool high altitude mountains in China, Kashmir, Afghanistan,Iran,Japan and Korea.

Very useful for female problems such as hot flashes, menopause,PMS, and vaginal dryness. Increases the effect of ovarian/testicular hormones. Dong quai has the ability to regulate hormone imbalance because it contains phytoestrogens (a component that mimics or acts as an antagonist to estrogen).

Note:- Dang quai root is a chinese name. I believe there is no name for Angelica in Hindi or Sanskrit. There are actually a number of different angelica varieties, well over sixty.  Most do NOT have same benefits.

Oh, and don't confuse Angelica archangelica with Angelica Sinensis, another herb with medicinal properties that is popular in Chinese medicine.
